2015 State Pennants
Congratulations to all clubs and players that have qualified for the 2015 Zone 10 Pennant Finals, to be played next Saturday, 23rd May. A Player Information Guide has been produced and is suggested reading for all those who will be participating in the Finals.
All section winners and their Finals draw can be viewed here or by selecting the State Pennants page. Updates of scores for all matches will be available to view on the Zone 10 Website, Zone 10 Facebook Page and Zone 10 App througout the day.
LIVE SCORING of Pennants Finals via Zone 10 App
For those with a smartphone, you can download the new Zone 10 Team App - it's FREE to download and use. It's a great tool to get quick access to results, Zone social media and it also has a live scoring function for the Pennants Finals.
To set it up, simply download "Team App" for free from the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android), open Team App and search for "Zone 10 Bowling" in the search bar. For more details, refer to this document. The app can also be viewed over the internet by clicking here.
2015 Seniors State Inter-Zone
Hopes of the Zone 10 Seniors winning a third consecutive State Inter-Zone title came to grief this morning at the hands of Zone 4, as they lost their third round match 52 to 59. For more details and to see full results view the Seniors Rep page.
2015 State/Senior/President Reserve Singles
Entries into Zone qualifying for the 2015 State, Senior and President Reserve Singles Championships close on 29th May 2015. Entry should be made through your Club Secretary and entry forms can be found on the Event Entry Forms page.
2015 Mid-Week 5-a-Side Entries Open
Entries into the 2015 Mid-Week 5-a-Side Competition are open and can be viewed on the Mid-Week Pennants Page. The competition begins on Wednesday August 5th and will be conducted in a similar format and with the same starting time to that used last year. Submissions for the 2016 State COP
A Circular has been released by Bowls NSW asking for feedback for the 2016 State COP:
The State Match Committee will soon begin the process of reviewing the 2015 Conditions of Play and submissions are invited from all stakeholders to be considered in the review and the drafting of the 2016 Conditions of Play. Submissions should address any concerns with the current Conditions of Play or suggestions for improvement or to address issues not currently covered in the Conditions of Play.
Submissions should be sent to the State Match Committee through Andrew Lynn (Sports Coordinator) firstname.lastname@example.org. Submissions should be received before 29 May 2015.
2015 Zone Junior Championships
After placing second in the first two Junior Championships of 2015, Billy Harkins broke through with a win in the Singles, defeating Jordon Piesley 31-10. Jordon had a chance at the clean sweep, having won both the Fours and Pairs titles, but some stellar play from a determined Billy Harkins lay waste to this ambition.
Zone 10 wishes all Qualifiers for the State Junior Titles at Warrila in July every success. For full results and further draws please view the Junior Championship page.
2015 Zone 10 v Nepean
After their recent success against Zone 9 in the Allan Buckley Shield, Zone 10 look to continue their winning ways when they take on the might of the Nepean District on Sunday April 12th 10am at the Austral Bowling Club, so if you at a loose end, why not drop by and watch our Zones best in action. Paul Webb named NSW U/25 Player of the Series
Zone 10 wishes to congratulate Paul Webb from the Merrylands BC, who was named Player of the Series for the U/25 NSW Keno Blues in their recent test series against Victoria played at the Wagga Rules club. For all the test results and information visit the Bowls NSW website.
Zone 10 Retains Allan Buckley Shield
In their annual encounter against Zone 9 played at the Harbord BC today, Zone 10 scored decisive wins in both the "A" & "B" squads, retaining the Allan Buckley Shield with a resounding 196 - 136 result. Full details and scores cn be viewed on the Zone Representatives page.

There have been several changes to the State Conditions of Play from last season, which can be viewed in the 2015 State Conditions of Play. The more noteable changes have been explained in a Bowls NSW Circular.
Rule Changes in 2015
There have been several changes to the rules and Domestic Regulations from 2014, including the release of Cyrstal Mark 3rd Edition for The Laws Of The Sport Of Bowls, where Law Numbering has been Revised. A summary of these changes can be viewed on the COP, Laws & Regulations Page.

Changes to Domestic Regulations regarding substitutes
Under the new Domestic Regulations (compliant with the Laws of the Sport of Bowls), replacement players are not permitted in the first round of a competition. If you have two of your intended players unavailable in the first you will have had to forfeit.
This requirement is reflected in the 2015 RNSWBA Conditions of Play (2.28)
184.108.40.206. Replacement Player: is a player who is appointed to take the place of a constituted player who cannot play in any round after the first round of that competition for a reason accepted by the Controlling Body."
