2015 Junior City v Country Sides
Congratulations to Zone 10's Jordon Piesley (Merrylands), Jack Walker (The Hills), & William Harkins (Northmead) on their selection to the U/18 City side that will play Country in the annual series held at Cabramatta Bowling Club on the 21st & 22nd November. 2016 Season Program
The Finals of have been completed with The Hills (Grade A), Ryde X (Grade B), & Rosehill (Grade C) proving victorious. Zone 10 would like to contragulate all finalisits on their accomplishments and Brush Park BC for their stellar efforts in hosting the Finals. Bowls NSW Rookies Pairs
The Zone 10 qualifiers for the 2015 Bowls NSW Rookie Pairs were completed over the weekend at the West Pennant Hills Sports Club, with the two protaganists from the Singles Finals, Graeme O'Donell (Brush Park) & Darrin Ede (WPH), again involved in the final to determine theZone 10 Pairs qualifier for this years State Finals at Raymond Terrace begining October 17th.
The addition of lead Ross Fitzpatrick was all Darrin needed to reverse the result of the Singles Final, as they came away victorious over Graeme and Doug Vail 12 - 5 in a great Final match. A very big thank you is owed to West Pennant Hills Sports Club and their Bowling Club membership for the outstanding job they did in hosting these finals.
2015 City v Country Teams Named

2015 NSW Inter-Zone Sides Championship
The 2015 NSW Inter-Zone Side Championships start tomorrow on the beautiful NSW Central Coast, with games being played at Ettalong Memorial and The Greens The Entrance Bowling Clubs. Zone 10's campaign begins with a game against the very strong Zone 2 (Newcastle) side, 9am Saturday 12th September at The Greens The Entrance.

New Player Clearance & Transfer Procedure
Bowls NSW have removed the requirement for Clubs to register non-declared members as 'Multi-Members'. As a consequence of this change, Bowls NSW has issued a new Player Clearance and Registration form which is to be used for all future Player Transfers. This Form is also available to view on the Administration Forms page of the Zone 10 Website. For more information, please refer to the Bowls NSW Transfer Circular.
Merrylands' Mathew Phillips has won the last of Zone 10s' 2015 Open Championships in defeating Paul McCarthy from Denistone Sports, 31 - 24 in the final of the Champion of Club Champion Singles played at Denistone Sports Club yesterday. This victory earned Merrylands its seventh Zone 10 Championship title for 2015, six of which were in the open category, and Matt the right to represent Zone 10 in the State Finals of the CoCC Singles at Port City BC on November 18th. Bowls NSW Rookies Singles
Graeme O'Donell (Brush Park) claimed the first of Zone 10's qualifying spots in the 2015 Bowls NSW Rookies Competitions, taking out the Singles at the West Pennant Hills Sports Club. Graeme defeated WPH local Darrin Eade in a fantastic Final 17 -12 and will now progress to the State Finals to be played at Raymond Terrace BC on October 31st 2015.

Merrylands claimed its fifth straight open title of 2015 with Gareth Lewis and Neil Burkett winning the 2015 Champion of Club Champion Pairs yesterday at the Toongabbie Sports Club. For full results and match summary please visit the CoCC Pairs page.
2015 U/18 7-a-side
First day action has been completed in the U/18 7-a-side championships at Figtree Bowling Club, with Zone 10 not fairing as well as hoped, finishing third in their sections in singles and pairs and second in the Fours. Play continues tomorrow and results can be viewed on the Bowls NSW website.
State and Zone Reserve Triples
Merrylands dominated the finals of the Zone 10 State and Reserve Triples played at the Dundas Sports Club on Saturday, adding both titles to their very impressive 2015 resume, which includes victories in all Zone 10 State Championships. The State Triples team of Jordan Peisley, Adam Bowden & Neil Burkett and Reserve Triples team comprising Michael Phillips, Emanuel Galea and Joseph Ivanic outlasted their opponents and earned their club the first double in Zone 10 Championships in 2015. NSW U/18 State Squad
Well done on Zone 10 players William Harkins (Northmead), Jordan Peisley (Merrylands) & Jack Walker (The Hills), on being selected into the NSW U/18 Squad. Jack Walker was also named in the NSW CHS team.
2015 State Pennants
Well done to all Zone 10 teams whom competed in the 2015 State Pennant Finals. Our most succesful campaigners were the Dundas Grade 2 team, who went down in the Final to Warilla by a single shot, losing 67 - 68. Whilst in Grade 7, Northmead's impressive run ended at the hand of country opponent, Comboyne, losing the Final 47 - 80.

NSW Keno Blues State Senior Team Announced

State Junior Championships
William Harkins (Northmead) has got Zone 10 off to a tremondous start at the 2015 State Junior Championships, being played at Warrilla Bowls, by winning his section which qualifies him for the Semi-Finals, to be played Tuesday morning the 7th July, followed by the Final in the afternoon.
The Championships will continue with the playing of the Fours on Wednesday-Thursday and culminating with the Pairs on Friday-Saturday. State/President Reserve/Senior Singles
Contratulations to our Zone Singles Winners - Mason Lewis (Merrylands), Michael Brown (Wenty Leagues & Peter O'Connell (Carlingford)
The Zone 10 State, Senior and President Reserve Singles concluded yesterday, culminating in three Finals of very high calibre, that saw three first time winners emerge victorious after eight gruelling rounds of competition. These players now progress to the State Finals at Ettalong Memorial, beginning 24th October.
In the State Singles, up and coming youngster Mason Lewis (Merrylands) defeated long time Zone 10 representative Craig Maythers (Wenty Leagues), 31 – 15. The President Reserve Singles Final was won by Michael Brown (Wenty Leagues) who defeated Michael Moseley (Toongabbie), 31-20. Whilst the Senior Singles title was taken out by Peter O’Connell (Carlingford) over Uwe Bendt (The Hills), 31-24. More information can be found on the Singles Championship page.
Mason Lewis Wins NSW U/25 Singles
Zone 10 wish to congratulate Merryland's Mason Lewis on his recent victory in the NSW U/25 Singles Championship. Mason won the final 25-11, defeating the newly crowned 2015 Australian Open Singles winner, Aaron Teys.

2015 Seniors State Inter-Zone
Hopes of the Zone 10 Seniors winning a third consecutive State Inter-Zone title came to grief this morning at the hands of Zone 4, as they lost their third round match 52 to 59. For more details and to see full results view the Seniors Rep page.
2015 Zone Junior Championships
After placing second in the first two Junior Championships of 2015, Billy Harkins broke through with a win in the Singles, defeating Jordon Piesley 31-10. Jordon had a chance at the clean sweep, having won both the Fours and Pairs titles, but some stellar play from a determined Billy Harkins lay waste to this ambition.

Paul Webb named NSW U/25 Player of the Series
Zone 10 wishes to congratulate Paul Webb from the Merrylands BC, who was named Player of the Series for the U/25 NSW Keno Blues in their recent test series against Victoria played at the Wagga Rules club. For all the test results and information visit the Bowls NSW website.
Zone 10 Retains Allan Buckley Shield
In their annual encounter against Zone 9 played at the Harbord BC today, Zone 10 scored decisive wins in both the "A" & "B" squads, retaining the Allan Buckley Shield with a resounding 196 - 136 result. Full details and scores cn be viewed on the Zone Representatives page.
