Zone 10 now has an App
For those with a smartphone, you can download the new Zone 10 Team App - it's FREE to download and use. It's a great tool to get quick access to Pennants Results, Zone social media and also has a live scoring function for Zone Championships.
To set it up, simply download "Team App" for free from the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android), open Team App and search for "Zone 10 Bowling" in the search bar. For more details, refer to this document. The app can also be viewed over the internet by clicking here.

2015 Seniors Metropolitan Shield
There has been a change in venue for the Zone 10 v Zone 11 game on Thursday April 9th, which will now be played at The Hills Club.
2015 State Pennants
All Results for Round 4 have been updated and can be viewd on the State Pennants Page.
Gradings have also been completed and can be viewed from the player gradings menu. Just a reminder that many players have now qualified for a current seasom grade (which is displayed in the 2nd last column of the worksheet) and are ineligble to play in a lower grade for the remainder of the season. 2015 Zone 10 v Nepean
After their recent success against Zone 9 in the Allan Buckley Shield, Zone 10 look to continue their winning ways when they take on the might of the Nepean District on Sunday April 12th at the Austral Bowling Club. Squad selections and more information can be found on the Zone Representative page.

Seniors Metropolitan Shield
The Zone 10 Senior Side begins their campaign to defend there Senior Interzone title with a series of trial games against teams from Zone 9 and Zone 11 in the annual Metropolitan Shield which starts on Thursday 26th March v Zone 9 at Chatswood BC. 2015 State Pennants
Gradings have been completed for Rd3 and can be viewed from the player gradings menu. Just a reminder to all club selectors that, as this is the fourth week of our season, many players will qualify for a 'Current Season Grading' this weekend, making them ineligble to play in a lower grade for the remainder of the season. For more information refer to State COP 220.127.116.11.
All results have been received for round 3 and result tables have also been updated. Additional features such as individual rink results have been added this week and can be viewed on the State Pennants Page.
2015 Veterans and Super Veterans
Entries for the 2015 Veterans and Super Veterans to be held at the Brush Park Bowling Club have now closed. Entries received can be viewed here, if you are not listed but believe you have entered, please contact your Club Secretary or Bowls Co-ordinator and advise them immediately and ask them to contact Zone 10 Match with your details.
Due to the number of entries received, BOTH the Veterans and Super Veterans days will be held on Tuseday the 17th March, with registration from 11.15am. If you are unable to make Tuesday the 17th March, please advise Zone 10 Match asap.
Paul Webb named NSW U/25 Player of the Series
Zone 10 wishes to congratulate Paul Webb from the Merrylands BC, who was named Player of the Series for the U/25 NSW Keno Blues in their recent test series against Victoria played at the Wagga Rules club. For all the test results and information visit the Bowls NSW website.
Zone 10 Retains Allan Buckley Shield
In their annual encounter against Zone 9 played at the Harbord BC today, Zone 10 scored decisive wins in both the "A" & "B" squads, retaining the Allan Buckley Shield with a resounding 196 - 136 result. Full details and scores cn be viewed on the Zone Representatives page.
2015 Junior Championships
Entry into the 2015 Junior Championships, which will be played at Rydalmere Central BC, are now open to all delcared bowlers of a Zone 10 affiliated club who are aged 18 years or younger as of 10th April 2015. Entry forms are located on the Event Entry page and entries into this event close on 20th March 2015.

Player Re-grade Applications
The State Match Committee has introduced an online updating system that allows Clubs and players to review the progress and outcome of their Player Re-Grade Applications which can be viewed here. If you have submitted a re-grade application prior to the last 48hrs and it does not appear in this list, please notify Zone 10 Match immediately.
2015 Zone Fours (State Qualifiers)
The 2015 Zone Fours Championship being played at Northmead Bowling Club has reached it's conclusion with the Neil Burkett led team of Gareth Lewis, Mason Lewis & Michael Clarke from Merrylands proving too strong for the local Northmead team comprising Mick Kelly, Mick Debono, Andrew Chapman & Brett Hughes, scoring an emphatic win 30 - 6 in the Final . 2015 Zone Reserve Fours Champions
Congratulations to the 2015 Zone Reserve Fours Champions J Meagher, P Chatfield, G Bricknell & J Retaino from Gladesville who triumphed over a determined West Pennant Hills Quartet of J Ede, D Ede, D Palm & M Schwarcz. More information and full results can be viewed on the Championships page.
Zone 10 Under 25 Quadrangular Series
The under 25 squad played against Zone 12, 13 & 16 at Fairy Meadow BC on 8th, winning 4.5 of 9 games to finish 2nd overall to the home side - Zone 16. For more details and full results visit the Representative page.
There have been several changes to the State Conditions of Play from last season, which can be viewed in the 2015 State Conditions of Play. The more noteable changes have been explained in a Bowls NSW Circular.
Rule Changes in 2015
There have been several changes to the rules and Domestic Regulations from 2014, including the release of Cyrstal Mark 3rd Edition for The Laws Of The Sport Of Bowls, where Law Numbering has been Revised. A summary of these changes can be viewed on the COP, Laws & Regulations Page.

Changes to Domestic Regulations regarding substitutes
Under the new Domestic Regulations (compliant with the Laws of the Sport of Bowls), replacement players are not permitted in the first round of a competition. If you have two of your intended players unavailable in the first you will have had to forfeit.
This requirement is reflected in the 2015 RNSWBA Conditions of Play (2.28)
18.104.22.168. Replacement Player: is a player who is appointed to take the place of a constituted player who cannot play in any round after the first round of that competition for a reason accepted by the Controlling Body."
