2023-24 Men’s Pennant
The 2023-24 Single Gender Men’s Pennant competition commences on Wednesday, 17th January 2024 for 6 rounds.
Key Dates:
- Club Entries close: Saturday, 25th November 2023
- Round 1: Wednesday, 17th January 2024
- Finals: Wednesday, 28th February 2024 (with a backup date on Wednesday, 6th March and 13th March if needed)
Now is the time to get a nomination form on your club notice board asking for expressions of interest from your male members.
Submit your club’s entries using the Club Entry Form which is to be emailed back to the Zone Match at zone10bowls@gmail.com by Saturday, 25th November 2023.

This document will remain as a DRAFT until the end of November. Please start to populate this document with what your club is currently thinking of in regards to the number of sides in each DIVISION, if you can. You won’t be locked into this number.
This will give the Z10 Match Committee an idea of the probable numbers in each Division and whether we look like having a workable number of sides in each Division.
Proposed Game Times
- Div 1 & Div 2 – Late afternoons or evenings.
- No lights: 4.45pm trial ends, doesn’t get dark until about 8.30pm.
- If you have lights, then 5.45pm trial ends for a 6pm start.
- Div 3 & Div 4
- For the majority, we are suggesting 9.45am trial ends, unless your club proposes the late afternoon time start.
- These times will avoid playing in the heat of the day and at times that are more comfortable for the players and hopefully avoid any matches being suspended.
