Officials Reaccreditation & Coaching Courses Update
| Bowls Australia has advised that a period of grace has been permitted for those officials who have been unable to undertake their reaccreditation assessment in 2021 due to the Public Health Orders (Stay at Home/Lockdown orders). This action intends to reduce any concerns with the compliance of Public Health Orders and minimise any issues with participants and their vaccination status. Based on this information, Bowls NSW Ltd advises that accreditation courses or reaccreditation assessments should not be undertaken for the remainder of 2021. The accreditation of officials (National Umpires, Measurers and Markers) who have expiration dates during 2021 and the early part of 2022 will be regarded as current until an assessment can be conducted in the early stages of 2022. Further, Bowls NSW Ltd advises that all coaching courses should not be run for the remainder of 2021. Any coaching courses set for 2021 should be rescheduled to commence from 2022.
